About the Access Fee
The application dates for the year 2026 have been officially established as indicated below.

2026: Calendar of Days
The Access Fee applies only on days marked in red.
HOURS from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On days not marked (white days), the fee does not apply and no action is required: neither payment nor exemption.

Application areas and map legend

The Access Fee must be paid by everyone in the Ancient City, on the scheduled days and times, without prejudice to the exclusions or exemptions provided.

The access fee is NOT due for those who only enter the areas of Ponte della Libertà, Stazione Marittima and Isola Nova del Tronchetto, without entering the Ancient City.

The access fee is NOT due for those who only enter the areas of Ponte della Libertà, Piazzale Roma, Santa Lucia Station and the area directly connected to Piazzale Roma and San Basilio Station, without entering the Ancient City.

On 2026 the Access Fee will NOT be applied to the MINOR ISLANDS of Venice Lagoon.

For the year 2026, the Access Fee will NOT be applied in the area facing the landing stages dedicated to large cruise ships at Riva degli Schiavoni.

How much does the Access Fee cost?
The amount provided for the Venice Access Fee is:
5€ daily for those who pay the Access Fee by the fourth last day before the day of access
10€ daily for those who pay the Access Fee after the fourth last day before the day of access
- For example if the access day to Venice's historic center is Sunday, by making the reservation up to and including the previous Wednesday, you pay €5.00 per person; if, instead, the reservation is made from the third day before, from Thursday onwards, the amount to pay will be €10.00 per person.
The amount is unique, for a single person and there are no reductions.
